The Psi Method with allowance of “Don’t Know” response
The psi method by Kontsevich and Tyler (1999) is extended to the one, which allows “Don’t Know” response, and
implemented as program PJND3CatBayes.exe.
This program can be executed on clicking here.
The program is prepared for a display with 1024 by 768 pixels size.
The source files are packed as ZIP file, which can be down loaded by clicking here.
UnZIP the downloaded file psi3catfiles.ZIP, then open the project file PJND3CatBayes.bdsproj with Delphi 2005.
When you open the project file, don’t double click it. Opening by double clicking will fail. For success, first run Delphi 2005, then open the project file.

The program estimates three parameters, two of psychometric function (PF) and one of judgment criterion.
The two parameters of PF are point of subjective equality (PSE) and threshold (JND).
The program for 2AFC is also uploaded.
